Bunnified Sweet Treats

I’ve started my “Lina’s Draw Posts” again over on Twitter, in which followers give me ideas for things to bunnify. This week’s theme was “sweet treats.” I first bunnified a bunch of sweet treats two years ago when I was couch-ridden for Covid. Drawing the bunny popsicles (or…hopsicles) and the root beer floats (err root hare floats) cheered me up quite a bit. So I decided to do it all over again this week for summertime.

After drawing all of these, I’m off to go find some ice cream, because not only have they lifted my spirits, they’ve made me ravenous for yummy dessert foods.

I tried some new Procreate methods with these. Usually I leave the outside lines and hatching, but this time I removed them and used gradient shading to create my lines. While I think they look awesome—I think I “leveled up” my shading skills—I think the lines will be returning, though they may be less prominent.

Drawing these has also inspired the theme for my first coloring book: Bunnified Food. I have tons of drawings I can outline and compile together. I’ve been bunnifying food for years.

If you’d like me to bunnify a sweet treat, head over to Twitter and comment on the pinned post. And don’t forget to come back in August for the yearly Bunnified Project.
